FILM PROJECTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS:

• LoliGirls: The Story Behind the Frills and Bows (’09-’10): First selection at the Women in Film Festival, the Buffalo Niagra Film Festival, and the Connecticut Film Festival. A film that documents three young women who have fully embraced the Lolita fashion that emerged from Japan and turned it into a lifestyle. (16 minutes) Producer and 1^st Camera

• St. Mark’s Promotional Video (’09):  Promotional video shot for the Catholic School. Production/Personal Assistant and 2^nd Camera.

• The Album (’08), The Bum and the Pickle (’07), What a Drag! (documentary)(’07), New Flight (’06), Good Day Gone Bad (’06), Followed (’06), The Cycle (’05), Troy Adaptation (’05), Laundry (’04): All short films written, produced, directed, and shot while attending SCAD.

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Linsey Taylor, and I am a graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design (Spring of 2008) with a degree in film and television.  I am quite anxious to get my resume out and get started on my career.  At this point I am searching for a paraprofessional or substitute teaching position at the elementary, middle, or high school level.

 I am hard working, high energy, well organized and efficient when it comes to my work.  I realize that as a recent college graduate my resume isn’t extensive.  However, I do believe that the skills I’ve gained in college combined with the various jobs I have held can be a great asset to getting a solid start.  Having worked as a substitute teacher, I am skilled at developing quick rapport with students and staff as well as being able to multi-task in stressful situations.  Moreover, I am not afraid to greet people and assist their needs thoroughly and in every situation.  I have also had experience in the education system working with special needs children.  In this capacity I developed the skills of clear communication, organization and patience. 

 I am willing and capable to take care of any task set before me and am ready to get started immediately.  I look forward to speaking with you about any opportunity you may have within your school system.
